OldSpace NewSpace provides interior design, organization, and accessibility services to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and San Antonio. Whether it be a complete renovation, accessibility consultation, or a few hours of de-cluttering, Alison Thompson and her team provide you with a space that is both beautiful and functional.

Alison (she/her) is a Registered Interior Designer who started her career with six years of corporate Interior Design experience after completing a Bachelors degree of Interior Design at the University of Oklahoma. In 2012, she became one of the original Contained Home Organizers contracting with The Container Store. She officially opened OldSpace NewSpace in 2013 to serve design and organizing clients. Alison attended the first Konmari Method training in 2016. She enjoys passing on her Interior Design knowledge and experience to the students at Dallas College, University of the Incarnate Word, and University of Texas San Antonio where she serves as Adjunct Faculty. Her passion is accessibility and universal design within interior spaces. To this end, she is a Registered Accessibility Specialist assessing plans and constructed spaces within the state of Texas for accessibility compliance.
